Toddler

Being a toddler’s mom for the first time is stressful. Don’t even say otherwise, because it is!

But, setting aside the stress, those sleepless nights, after all the hard work you do every day, having a child brings joy and unexplainable happiness in any parent’s life.

Today, I listed 6 perks that I get to enjoy as a mom despite ranting about my toddler’s actions every day.

1. If you are afraid to be alone, don’t worry, YOU WILL NEVER BE ALONE!

2. You’ll get lots of hugs and kisses — unlimited, even if you don’t ask for it. Prepare a tissue or a cloth for the saliva though. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

3. You get to have snacks all the time, don’t mind if it’s your child’s leftovers.

4. You get to exercise while cleaning your child’s stuff. Hey, multitasking!

5. Out of tune? Don’t worry, your child will appreciate any nursery rhyme that you will sing. Hey, you get to practice your vocal cords too! Our favorite at the moment is Clean Up Song by CoCoMelon. — No preview of me singing, sorry! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

6. Can’t sleep? Insomnia? Oh mom, just think of your day tomorrow and gaze at your child’s face. And you’ll fall asleep in no time, tomorrow will be another day (you know what I mean!) πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I LOVE MY CHILD, I would just like to share the positive side of every rant that I make in this journey of mamahood. If you are offended in any way, I apologize.

Are you a mom too, can you relate? 😊 Can you share something similar about your toddler too? Comment down below and I’ll add it up to the list. Thank you for reading! 😊

Clean Up Song excerpt

Clean Up Song by CoCoMelon (formerly β€œABCkidTV”) seems to be my favorite song nowadays! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ I think all moms can relate especially if you have a toddler and if your house is super messy every single day! So, the lyrics of this song deserves a space in my blog. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

CHORUS
Clean up, clean up
We all had fun today
Now it’s time to clean up and
Put everything away!

Over here and over there
Up and down and everywhere
All the toys and games we played
And one big giant mess we made

Over here and over there
Up and down and everywhere
There’s cars and trucks and boats and trains
And buses and a model plane

Over here and over there
Up and down and everywhere
There’s paper, brushes, paints and glue
And lots of pictures that we drew

Over here and over there
Up and down and everywhere
There’s shoes and socks and balls and bats
And shirts and capes and silly hats

Toddler Story

Toddler filing his diapers on the sofa

On a scale of 1-10, gaano kakulit ang toddler ninyo?

Nagligpit din naman sya after, 3rd pic, storage box is lagayan niya talaga ng toys siya lang nakaisip na dun ipatas yung diapers. In fairness, natuwa naman ako sa idea niya.haha

Toddler keeping his diapers in a box

Sometimes we feel so overwhelmed sa gawaing bahay, kalikutan ng anak and other things na kailangan gawin at matapos within the day. Because of this, minsan hindi natin napapansin na umiinit na pala ulo natin. nasisigawan ang anak, nadidistract and lalong hindi natatapos ang nasa to-do list natin.

Today, I realized, pwede naman pala hindi magalit. We have to choose our battles wisely so we can focus more on what to do. Instead na magalit, take a breather. Hindi naman masisira ang bahay kung hindi ka nakapaglinis, hindi din naman magkakasakit yung family mo kung di ka nakapagluto on time. Kapag nainis ka sa toddler mo kasi nagkalat siya, think before you speak. Bakit niya ginawa yun? There must be a reason.

Toddlers are normally playful, in this instance, maybe he thought that it’s okay to play with his diapers or maybe he’s bored with his toys. Siguro nag-explore lang siya and when he saw the diapers, maybe he thought, “Ah, maganda to a, malaro nga.” We will never know. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ So, instead na magalit, I appreciated the fact na lang na he was able to file the diapers properly on the sofa and cleaned up after. Appreciated his creativity and imagination as well. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
